Is it possible to log the additional data that is available to full HeatPumpMonitor owners and logged to the HeatPumpMonitor.org site when running a DIY MyHeatPump App locally on a raspberry pi ?
Specifically the HeatDemand tool, histogram of COP, Electricity usage etc or is this only available
with a full HeatPumpMonitor purchased from OpenEnergyMonitor.
(ie the data that is linked from the system page ?)
My whole metering is essentially DIY as I didn’t even know OEM when my heatpump was installed. It’s still on the site and all features are available. I don’t have the MID metering checkbox ticked so it’s clear my data is not coming from certified components.
Yes I went there a months ago while I was thinking to order a heatpump monitor before the heat pump was installed but didn’t create an account at the time and then forgot the name.
Eventually the installer said he wouldn’t be able to fit one, so fell back to DIY.
Only just started using emon, so I’m only a beginner.
I already have more than 2 months of data, hopefully this will get exported.
Is there a definitive step by step guide to publishing MyHeatPump to HeatPumpMonitor.org ?
I think it changed and you can do it directly from the App configuration (provided there is an account on emoncms.org), or am I barking up the wrong tree ?
There are a lot of possibly out of date posts sprinkled around giving different info as the App has evolved.
Hi John. Finally managed to get the MyHeatPump App up and running remotely on emoncms.org after much bumbling around. I’ll add it to HeatPumpMonitor.org later today if I have time. Lots of steps but fairly logical.
I’m a bit of an old duffer and not so much of a bright young geek. Maybe I will write a guide for other duffers !
