Disabling the DemandShaper Module

Same here, although for a different reason. But I agree with Brian 100%
Fixes should always be at the top of the priority list.

How about a simple “switch” to prevent it from getting loaded for those of us who have no need for it
e.g. no EV, no Octopus Agile, don’t do appliance scheduling, etc.

Loading a module into memory just to have it sit there and “sleep,” seems counterproductive,
or at the very least, a non-optimal use of RAM.

If you mask the service it is never loaded.
