Installation on Buster 10.1.11 with image and data migration from 9.9.6 ran without problems,
thank you for your tireless and excellent work.
However I have in the local Dashboard a misalignment which is unfortunately very disturbing.
Where can I adjust it?
This problem only appears on my dashboard when I am not logged in.
http://emonpibu/emoncms/user .
I am logged in or in the Dashboard Layout Editor, everything is ok.
http://emonpibu/dashboard/view/001
Can the menu line also be reduced? Where do I have to change this?
The background is that my dashboard was completely visible on the browser without scrolling,
this is no longer the case.

Hello @Luiflm2
I cant seem to replicate this here, I’ve created a public dashboard with a grey box right up to the top and left edges and then a white box just offset and a dial, seems to work fine in the different dashboard view modes:
Could you try to see if the space appears creating a test dashboard in the same way? If you can describe the steps I need to take to replicate the issue that would be great.
You could try changing the top bar height with a custom modification to this line here: https://github.com/emoncms/emoncms/blob/master/Lib/misc/sidebar.css#L63 but it will block the emonpi update mechanism if there are future updates to this file…

I created a new dashboard, unfortunately still the same, but
When I call up the dashboard, the error message is flashed for a very short time:
„Notice. A non well formed numerc value encouted in var/www/emoncms/Lib/misc/nav_functions.php on Line 366“

@borpin
Clearing browser cache and Private Windows did not bring any success.
@TrystanLea
An update to 10.1.13 didn’t bring any success either.
I am grateful for every idea

For me,

Look pretty much the same.
Chrome browser.
This error suggests an error caused by a module menu file, do you have any modules installed that may not have updated? What do you see under the /var/www/emoncms/Modules directory?
@emrys any ideas how to better catch this error with the navigation?

@TrystanLea . @Luiflm2 posted a config output above and the modules all look up to date to me.
@Luiflm2 , could you run an update and post the update log please.

public dashboards can cause issues with alignment of widgets:

This emoncms pull request should fix this issue:
emoncms:master
← emrysr:fix/issue-1475-menu-sort-functions
opened 06:56AM - 19 Nov 19 UTC
fix: #1475
now uses the `asort()` `SORT_NATURAL` function to sort correctly.…
also increments the number part of the sorted keys:
```
'a'=>'First Item',
'a1'=>'Second Item'
```
previously it would have shown an error when text keys were used as it couldn't increment the array's key to the next item.
could you let me now if now this doesn’t sort your problem.

I’ve merged @emrys fix to the master branch, could you test @Luiflm2 to confirm it works for you, these are the steps:
cd /var/www/emoncms
git checkout master
git pull
then if you want to switch back to stable after testing:
cd /var/www/emoncms
git checkout stable
git pull
