Is it possible to change the scale on graphs? I wish to compare graphs side by side and for that would need to be able to make the scales the same. I don’t see a place to change away from auto scaling.
Change request: would it be possible, as an alternative to min & max, to fix the span on the graphs at some user-defined value, so that when scrolling through time, the vertical scale doesn’t change from one picture (= time period) to the next?
Doesn’t setting the max value for the y-axis achieve this?
Forgive my ignorance. I can set scale within the graph section as described. I am trying to create a dashboard containing those graphs. When I set this in dashboard by graphing the separate feeds the Y axis seems to set automatically. I am trying to show 2 graphs side by side in the dashboard with the same y axis scale to make visual comparison easier.
I suppose that a single graph showing both would work and be better.

Doesn’t seem to Glyn. I am drawing a graph in the dashboard using the feed data rather than displaying the graph set up in graphs as I don’t know how to do that or even if it is possible?

You can pick up a saved graph in Graphs using the Visualisation element in the dashboard, but I can’t vouch for how it works - I’ve set one up just now to find out. Is this more like what you’re trying to do?
Thanks Robert.
Under visualisations there are a number of options. I have used graph. In the setup tab it asks for feed no.
I can’t see which of the other options would work?

Would I be right to assume you want something that updates live? If so, then my suggestion (a graph saved in Graphs) doesn’t update until you manually scroll it, so that doesn’t work. neither does a realtime Visualisation (you can’t define the vertical scale).
I think it’s time to ask the creator of emonCMS, @TrystanLea to help.
Hello @markstjwebb
To use the graph option in the dashboard builder you need to start by creating saved graphs in the graph tool. Glyn’s suggestion above to fix the Y-axis should work, e.g a quick test here I have created two saved graphs both with Y-axis fixed to 0-2000:
The graph tool is accessible via the left hand menu or by clicking on feeds on the feeds page.
