Side Q (no hijack intended) do any with a vaillant heat pump had success controlling the circulation pump via Home assistant or any other way than in the app from vaillant?
You did hijack it, so I moved it

no problem… i found out a month ago that the circulation pump for heating is controlled only by the heatpump
there are in some cases also a pump for circulating hot drinking water, but that can only be controlled from their app and only if a return line for hot water is fitted
