Controller and module compatibility

Hi, I’m in need of some new modules so looking at ordering. I currently use the ESP8266 based controller with v4.21 modules.

Can I use the v4.5 (or 4.4 depending on parts) versions on the modules with the legacy controller?

Thanks @JoshyJS and mixing 4.21 modules with 4.5 modules wouldn’t be an issue I take it then?

I’m needing at least 4. Do you have spares?

Stuart did not construct diffrend systems. All Versions are compatible.

I do not have futher PCBs. I changed to 1.9f and sold my 4.4 all.
