Maybe this isn’t the correct place to ask, but I thought I’d try anyway.
At some point soon I’ll replace my combi boiler.
Right now I collect data from the existing boiler using a combination of DS18B20 sensors and current transformers on an emonTX which I use to collect flow temperatures and gas usage.
Does anyone know of a combi boiler that exports data through some comms port using something like Modbus, I’m not bothered if it’s rs485 or Modbus over TCP/IP. I’d like to have something that I can get water flow rates, gas flow, firing rates and temperatures out of without doing anything risky. Hopefully, something that doesn’t need hacking some proprietary interface. Or I’m even open to gatewaying through Home Assistant on its way to emonPI.
oh, and with a high turndown ratio:-)
cheers
Mike
