Can't update database structure because the changes won't let me access the admin page

So I’m stuck. What I really need is a url/command that calls the database update routine directly rather than from the admin page which I am unable to access due to the changes. I can’t work it out from looking at the available .php files The new version is: V9.8.31 | 2018.06.21

I am running this on a remote linux server, not on emonPi.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks. It does help, but invoking the db update directly doesn’t fix it cos it says there is nothing to update! So I guess it’s not that and I need to reinstall it in another directory. Will let you know how I get on.
