Cant get a COP despite having electrical power, flow rate and flow/return temps

Hi, I’ve just set up a new instance and am feeding data into EMON from Home assssitant to hopefully utilise the better graphing.
I cant understand why CMS wont display COP when it has the values it needs for a calculation
Am i missing a step somewhere??

Hi Ashley and welcome to the forum! You don’t seem to have the heat power and accumulated energy feed. You need to create the power feed via the mass flow heat power equation and accumulate it through the power → kWh functionality.

I’ve read that it should be able to calculate COP without a heat meter using electrical power, flow rate and hot water delta.
Is that not the case?

Yes that’s true - but you have to manually do that calculation by creating a feed containing the heat power.

Edit: This is how to set up the input processing for the flow temperature input (probe_1 is flow temperature for me, probe_2 is return)

Note that the 0.00027777 factor is the conversation rate from liters/h to liters/second. If your flow rate comes in another unit you have to adapt. Also the x4186 is for a pure water circuit. If you have glycol, you also need to change this.

OK, working through that
Can you think why I cant see the log to feed option when editing the virtual feed?

Sorry, I have no experience with virtual feeds. I’m working directly from the inputs.

OK, I see that now!
Thanks!
