I think it is down to permission levels. If it is closed I was wondering if there was a way to force reply as a new topic.
It is - I can’t reply using my non-moderator account, there’s no “Reply” button.
Can you click on the link to create a linked post? It used to be really obvious how to do this ( a link on the right of the post) but it seems it is hidden under the ‘link’ then create new topic (which is not intuative).
As an ordinary (level 0 - new user) all I can do is ‘Like’ ‘Share a link’ and ‘Bookmark’ it. ‘Share a link’ is via copy-and-paste the URL. As Moderator, I can do everything as normal, including create a linked topic.
