I have 5 (newish) emonTH’s up and running. I have a 6th unit that I want to use, but it was shipped assigned address 24, which is same as an address that is already in use. Can system support 6 sensors - if so, what do I need to do? (the existing functioning sensors have the addresses 20, 23, 24, 25, and 26).
Hi @Glen_Garfunkel - you can configure an emonTH2 using a serial device (either a USB->UART adapter or using a Raspberry Pi or similar). The details are here - you can set your 6th sensor to node ID 27 and set the jumpers to 0. To do this, send the command n27
over the serial link. Hope that helps!
To this, I would add:
Ensure you don’t already have a conflicting definition for Node ID 27 in the emonhub.conf file in your emonPi/emonBase.
