Can emonPi connect to another MQTT broker?

I am using a MQTT broker where I receive data from multiple devices. I need to know if EmonPi could act as a MQTT client (connect to that MQTT broker and publish messages).
I have read emonPi has a MQTT broker included but I do not know if it can connect to another broker.

Depends is the answer.

Easier way it to bridge the Brokers together.

Remember for input, emoncms will only pick up data with the base topic emon.
