Could we have some easy options for automated backups that can be setup from the main web interface.
Options could be USB, Onedrive, Google, dropbox or FTP
It’s one of those features that would be good but has never happened.
If you search the community there are a couple of solutions that users have implemented.
Search the community for ‘dropbox’ and some will appear. Note Dropbox is a far less desirable option since they severely limited the number of devices on the free account.
I did get the dropbox version running with an old image and have contributed with forum posts on how to get it to work.
We need a better way of backup that does not require command line to setup. you should be able to plug a usb or SSD into the emonpi tell it when to backup and how much disk space to use/keep free.
