ATmega4809?

I notice the new Arduino Boards use the ATmega4809 as an ATmega328p replacement: ARDUINO UNO WiFi REV2 — Arduino Official Store

Arduino is presenting this chip as a more capable ‘drop-in’ replacement for the ATmega328p.

Has anyone tried this new chip? I wonder if EmonLib and EmonTx Shield will work with it?

The ATmega4809 is more an evolution to the Xmega series than to Atmega328. The drop-in replacement for Atmega328P is the Atmega328PB.
Both are 8bit MCUs with similar ADCs. Running at the same speed it won’t make any better than the other for using with that libs so it all resumes to cost.
