Air in System Error caused by Heat Geek Mini Store?

Hi Each,

A new setup and feed, based on the eBUS Adapter Shield C6 and linking to emoncms on Home Assistant which then feeds to the public version with a Vaillant 12kW Aerotherm+ in a 1929 bungalow!

The emoncms says that I have air in the system, but it is happening each time the hot water heat kicks in after a few hours “off”. I have a “leaky 3 ways valve” so it loses heat faster than expected so I have hot water heating set for when I need it or electricity is better value.

And…

I can’t find a field from micro-ebusd that I can use to say the water is being heated as the Vaillant integration has limited translations.

So, when it gets a large increase in heating, the emoncms thinks it is a fault with air in the system.

Any suggestions on how I can resolve this?

Thanks in anticipation

Jan

Quick update

The error was caused by sampling rates being inconsistent. I had tried the Home Assistant MyVaillant integration, but it was cloud based and at the very best “variable”.

I have now implemented an ebus setup and learnt how to request data when it is needed.
