After a reboot emonpi hangs restarting service-runner?

My emonpi has not been recording feeds for quite some time. I have tried restarting, updating firmware, and nothing works. However, it is still transferring data to emoncms.org.

Any ideas?

Hello @chaines. Do you see anything in the Logger "View last entries on the logfile:/var/log/emoncms.log " in the admin view? There is something stopping both emoncms_mqtt and service-runner from starting. Would you be comfortable with SSHing into the emonPi to debug further?

Alternatively, you could if you wish upgrade to the latest emonSD image: emonSD-30Oct18 and then use the sync module to download and make a local copy of your data from emoncms.org.

Yeah, I can ssh into the emonpi. However, I will try to reinstall the image with a newer one and see if that makes a difference.

I have reinstalled the image file and restored from a backup I made earlier this month. However, how do I sync up the emoncms.org data to my emonpi? I have downloaded everything, but it does not show up on any of the trend logs or in the Apps.
