Here’s a bit about me. I’m married, have two wonderful daughters and an amazing wife/partner/best best friend.
I retired 2 years ago from Manitoba Hydro at the age of 56. I had a great career, working as a Power Station Operator (at various locations around Gillam, Manitoba) and then as a Power System Operator, working at the control center (for our entire system/province) here in Winnipeg.
As a hobby, I have a small company called Bird’s Eye View Tower Solutions. I put up/take down towers and install/remove apparatus on them. This little business is growing as there is a good niche market here for this type of activity. I am also a self taught welder and use this skill to make custom weldments for some of the towers I install.
My other interests are: health/fitness/wellness, mechanics, technology, golf, hockey, motorcycles and anything else with motor.
