I made my bachelor in engineering at NTB University of Applied Sciences in Buchs. I work for a small IT company which develops systems in the field of unified collaboration and communications.

In my free time I mess around with some home automation stuff. I have a groundwater/water heat pump in my house which can also be used for passive cooling. The control of the valves is done via node-red and the temperature/humidity in every room is measured by a modified emonTH. I don’t use the emonPi but I really like the simple and energy saving design of the emonTH.
