This is what I mean: the system was set to cooling the entire time and there was nominally never any heating. Those initial spikes must be some transient effect that I don’t entirely understand, but they reduce cooling COP, and rightfully so at it first heats the house and then cools it.
The conditions to auto detect cooling are:
-
kWh cooling must be greater than kWh heating in the data window (a day for daily data).
-
Cooling must be active for more than 5 minutes in a single period. The start of the cooling flag will align to the start of that 5+ minute period and will coincide with the first negative heat
It will therefore not include a positive heat peaks in the cooling periods …
indeed, I uploaded a draft CSV who’s missing the non-zero only to test to new start date of the feed… I miss time to work on it , sorry
The auto detection looks amazing !
Thanks a million for your work here
I needed to reload your system on HeatpumpMonitor.org, all sorted now!
Thanks,
How to do it myself if needed?
With this link you mentioned earlier?
Hello @Ulric I’ve re-enabled reloading data from the HeatpumpMonitor.org UI. If you click on edit for your system then scroll down:
