I tried resetting the installation with:
sudo systemctl stop emonhub
sudo systemctl disable emonhub
sudo rm /etc/systemd/system/emonhub.service
sudo rm /etc/init.d/emonhub
sudo rm /etc/default/emonhub
sudo systemctl daemon-reload
sudo systemctl reset-failed
then a re-install, but no luck
