MyElectricFlow app

Ah! It was grumbling that the feeds didn’t exist when I first set it up. I suspect I’d not fully set the input feeds/clicked ok and was tab switching and adding input processing to create something unnecessary;)

After a day or two of feed fiddling I now have MyElectricFlow setup nicely, it turned out needed to invert my battery charge/discharge feed. Great work all!

I’m two weeks into my 32kWh Fogstar on a 8kVA Victron Multiplus. I think someone else mentioned, the holy grail would be a single app that integrated ASHP as well, but I suspect the graph overlaying might get a bit too busy :joy:

Nice! great to see @tommyt! what tariff and battery control approach are you taking?

I’m on Go.

For summer, I’ve got the battery charging to 55% off peak. In winter that will be 100%

I’ve added a battery in the last few days and added to My Electric Flow. The Electric Flow tab looks accurate, but the Tariff Explorer doesn’t show any battery to load or battery to grid.

Digging into my feeds, it looks like the solar_batter_kwh_flows haven’t updated in 4 days. The new, battery related, ones are all sat with values of 0 kwh.

Thanks @vworp when you refresh the page does the tariff explorer work ok? I have noticed I’ve had to trigger the recalculation at times - I need to look at that a bit closer.

Oops, should have updated you earlier. I got it back to life by deleting the offending feeds and doing a run post-processor.

Refreshing the page did nothing.

I’m not really sure what caused the feeds to fail. I went from my original solar & grid, added my battery on Friday and from the looks of it the feeds failed almost straight away.

Thanks @vworp did you try clicking on “run post-processor” from the MyElectricFlow config page?

Yes, run post-processor didn’t fix anything until I manually deleted the feeds then run post-processor.

Thanks @vworp noted!

Not sure if its the 900s fixed interval on the solar_battery_kwh_flows feeds created by my electric flow, but if you import the feeds into home assistant, I’m finding that the entities update very sporadically, hours at a time without an update.

There’s definitely something wrong with the feed created by My Electric Flow.

I’ve got up this morning and it looks like they failed to update from around midnight on.

This time, run post processor brought them back to life

Thanks @vworp I will investigate this.

Here are my results for the last week in Tariff Explorer.

Should the Net Result figure not be in green as I’m getting paid or is it just always red just a negative figure is a good thing?
