My Solar Use and Grid display odd

What I’m seeing is the Use gets subtracted from by the solar excess (export). This also subtracts from the grid (import).

How does the My Solar App calculate the export/direct/grid numbers? Can I create a feed that calculates these numbers so I can extract them via JSON?
