I tried to ssh into it but asked for a password! . I have searched but I cant find anything that works. Does anyone know what the default is?

Thanks Mate!!! that worked a treat! could find no reference to that anywhere. I am sure it has been staring me in the face but i couldnāt find it.
Thanks again
I was not saying that - not at all.
This is why I asked:
Again, it appears from what you said (and bear in mind I donāt know what you did), it was you who got it wrong. You mounted the meter alongside the existing breakers, and in doing so connected the meter directly to the busbar. This would have been dangerously wrong - youād have no protection against a fault or overload.
What it appears he did was remove that section of busbar (so that the input side of the meter can accept a wire instead of sitting on the busbar, and connect the output (top) of the existing breaker into the supply side (bottom) of the meter, and the load side (top) of the meter to the pump.
So the power comes into your house to the Supply fuse ā Supplierās meter ā Consumer unit main switch ā busbar ā breaker ā new meter ā heat pump.
Not quite. Itās here (about 1 screenful from the bottom):
Hi Robert. For info, the SDM120 meters supplied by the shop in the hp bundle physically canāt sit on the bus bar - the terminals are only large enough for 4or6mm cables and there are both live and neutral terminals on the lower edge. The bus bar has to be cut away in order for the sdm120 to fit.
Ok Thanks, My head is not right at the moment so many things to do when moving house. Not had much time to sort all this out. probably should have left it for a month or two. I have just logged into the emonhub this morning for the first time and can see an error in the log "SDM120 Not connected to modbus device

I tried restarting the emonhub as I read on another thread but still get the same error
MBus and Modbus are different. I donāt know much about either, so check you have the correct Interfacer in emonHub, in the meantime letās hope someone who knows more can help you.
Oh If you donāt Know, I havenāt got a hope in hell of getting this going!
I just havenāt got time to get to understand how it all works in detail.
I thought if I bought the kit it would just work!
I donāt mean nobody else here will know. Donāt just give up, I agree it should just work, so Iām a bit baffled - from the error message seems to be indicating that the message format isnāt as expected - but itās reading some values even if it canāt make sense of everything - hence my suggestion to check whatās actually in the emonhub.conf file. As you sound desperate, Iāll try to attract @TrystanLea or @glyn.hudsonās attention.
Thanks
I do sound a bit desperate donāt I

Hi Again.
as Far as I can tell everything is working and I am digging into creating a dashboard ( Iām using the preconfigured one at the moment) But I still donāt know what that error means . I have emailed the help desk at the shop. But not had a reply yet.
