The EmonScripts automated emoncms build scripts have now reached beta release!:

Changes include:
- support for new hierarchical emoncms settings
- automated data partition resize as part of the initial setup process thanks to @borpin
- improved documentation thanks to @alexandrecuer
- improved configuration file loader
- improved handling of services installation, including drop-ins for non pi users
- ability to set git repository URL’s @alexandrecuer
- wifi AP working
- user input check to allow review of configuration
- first boot update script included
- testing on Ubuntu VM @borpin @TrystanLea, see:
- lots of raspberrypi based testing Pi4 and Pi3 B+
Special thanks to @borpin for all his help and guidance throughout the development process.
There are quite a few things we would still like to improve further to make the installation process less emonpi/SD specific for VM or other environments and improve the way the configuration works, but the current state is an important milestone, warranting a beta release.
