Would some reconize what type thermistor is required

Hi there I was wondering if someone would recognize what sort of thermistor is required – I bought a rex C100 controller and it says a k sensor is required. but I think it is wrongly labelled as the sensor that came with it does not work and i tried several others K sensors they all do not work. So I put a rotary potentiometer on it and tested it range – 0C is 8k and it maxes out at 100k for 1300C.

Looking at the REX-C100 data sheets you can see that it can be configured to accept a number of different sensor types: thermocouples, RTDs and thermistors. I dont know if all hardware supports all types but you can see there’s a type ‘K’ thermocouple listed there.
