When defining a virtual feed, what is the difference between the “+ feed” processor and the “+ source feed” processor?

+feed gets last feed value.
+source feed gets the details for all the time stamps queried on a graph
Hmmm… still trying to understand, what is the “last value of the feed”?
Is it really the last value of the entire feed? Or the last value in the time range being graphed? Or the last value before the current timestamp being queried?
