Just asking for a little knowledge please on reading my data from my app, I know the obvious flow and return temp, outside temp, it’s the heat part I’m not quite sure what it means. If someone can have a look at my pics and tell me that would be great. Thanks all for a great forum
Hi Mike
Electric - is the amount of electric in watts used by the heat pump. It looks like your heat pump is using about 1000W there.
Heat - this is the amount of heat being generated by the heat pump and recorded by the heat meter. Looks around 2600W on the bottom graph.
Heat divided by Electric = COP
2600 / 1000 = 2.6 COP
Which isn’t great.
If you look at the last 30 day chart here
https://heatpumpmonitor.org/stats
You’ll see most of the heat pumps are getting 3.8 COP and above in the last 30 days.
So it definitely looks like there is scope for improvement on your setup.
What make/model/size of heatpump do you have?
Rads / UFH?
And what is the monitoring setup you’ve got.
