Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The issue was service runner was polling redis every 100ms. Since this is a bash script it was not using the php redis connection from emoncms it was creating it’s own connection. This was creating a overhead resulting in high load. Increasing the sleep delay to 1s has now reduced the redis load down to <5%
