Pylontec over RS485

Hi all,

I’m using a FSP Power Manager Hybrid 10KW. My problem is that this inverter do not support CAN bus, but it haves support for the Pylontec batteries over RS 485.
My questions are now:

  1. Is there any support for this in the future planed?
  2. Is it possible to implement this by using the existing RS485 without any Hardware change?

Hi, I don’t have any plans to support Pylontech over RS485 at the moment.

If you can gather information on how it works (protocol etc.) and create a GITHUB issue for this, it may get looked into if its a popular request.

It should be possible without hardware modification - although it would possibly interfere with the DIYBMS current monitor.
