When Post processing P1, Grid CT, with Allow Negative the Post Processor hangs up after initiating Run by getting stuck on Running.

Hello @SnowMonkey just tested this here and Im unable to replicate on my system but If I remember correctly you had an installation issue in a previous thread [Post-processor "Allow negative" stuck on Queued / Service-runner permissions issue](https://community.openenergymonitor.org/t/post-processor-allow-negative-stuck-on-queued-service-runner-permissions-issue/30320) did you manage to re-install the post process module correctly?

Hi TrystanLea,

Thanks for your enquiry regarding my previous issue. Yes I did manage to reinstall the post process module correctly. Although I then deleted all the earlier data, the post process only got past Queued by changing the process product name. But, then the post process now gets stuck on Running. Also after scanning the Feed sheet to observe any changes to the Allow Negative output, of which there is no change, when I return to the Post Process screen, the creation formulae have disappeared and the screen is displaying ’No processes created yet.

Kindest regards,

Frank

Hello @SnowMonkey I think the issues that you are having are likely installation configuration issues given the earlier discussion. There’s not enough information in your reply here for me to be able to diagnose and suggest how to fix and there’s lots of things to get in the right place for an install to work. This is why we developed the automated EmonScripts installation scripts. [GitHub - openenergymonitor/EmonScripts: Emoncms Stack Installation and Update scripts · GitHub](http://github.com/openenergymonitor/EmonScripts) and there’s also @alexandrecuer excellent docker image which includes the post process module [alexjunk/emoncms - Docker Image](https://hub.docker.com/r/alexjunk/emoncms). Perhaps using that docker image would be a more successful route for you? or downloading our pre-built emonSD images? Thanks TrystanLea for your advice, I will look at it again tomorrow and decide which route to follow.

Hi TrystanLea, after careful consideration, I decided to ditch the post-processing module and use Excel Macros and Spreadsheets instead. They are now up and running and giving me the results I need without any of the jiggery-pokery required to make the post-processing module work satisfactorily again. Many thanks for your advice and assistance.
