I recently moved in to a new house with panasonic aquarea air to water heating unit. I am hearing bang noice lIke Tuu dumm continously every 1 min.
Builders say, there is a leak. But no water on cellling or on the floor for last 4 days. They also saying in water hammer issue. Anyone know why this sound even if the hot water is not in use,
I had a noise which was regular i.e. every minute or so 24*7 that was traced to a pressure limiting valve feeding mains cold water into the DHW heat coil of my thermal store.
Basically it was failing and on a regular basis allowing some additional water through momentarily. Found by noticing the pressure in the DHW circuit was going above the 3 bar set limit. Replaced with a new Calefi valve and the noise immediately went away.
Could you send me a pricture of that Please, how to checked this? I think, I am having the same issue, 24x7 the water is pumbing to the tank every 1 min. I found this, today morning over the heating unit.
