I’ve gone through the forum and can’t find the answer!
I finally go the PV Divert working - see the attached graph.
I realise that I might be using very old openevse firmware
Version:** V2.8.1" - do later versions have any newer features? Is my hardware compatible with later releases? I’ve always been a bit of a whimp and never updated anything on the openevse firmware…
Any pointers to helpful places appreciated!

ok I’ve updated to 2.9.1 wifi and I’m seeing better behaviour.
Q still remains is what is the latest firmware, and is it ok to update? I see various things about later versions requiring a new wifi module? I’ve spent an hour or so reading up on this on the forums and can’t quite make sense of what I need to do. I don’t want to brick my charger!
Yes, 2.9.1 is the latest version of the firmware available for that hardware. Later versions require a newer ESP32 based WiFi module. See GitHub - OpenEVSE/ESP32_WiFi_V4.x: OpenEVSE V4 WiFi gateway using ESP32
