Apologies for linking the image and not uploading it (slaps wrist sharply)
I’m pretty sure it’s interference as it happens most often at switch on/off.
Also happens with the V4 wifi (master_d92677f6_modified).
I’m also seeing corruption in the settings - the scheduled timer sometimes needs resetting as it shows wild times (that I’ve not set).
I used to have the slack in the charger cable looped around the OpenEVSE box (single turn) - unlooping it has made a significant improvement (but not total cure).
[10 mins later]
I went off again while writing this post - car not even plugged in so NOT just on switch off/on…
Defo not an AP problem as only 3m away and other devices still attached
Is this the image that you deleted after linking to it in the original post - the one that follows the text “Apologies for linking the image and not uploading it (slaps wrist sharply)” in the post immediately above this one?
“[Wifi Power Supply|534x499](upload://cEbyks0qDPxS1WgPLJnIg7wAgA8.jpeg)”
Yes - but I didn’t delete it.
I would have just edited the original post to include the uploaded image but that doesn’t seem possible (no “edit” button)
If a moderator wants to insert the image in the original post and delete this chatter I’m happy with that.
Sorry for clogging up this thread with confusion

Yes and no. I have found some makes of AP (different chips) are less forgiving than others and ESPs can be particularly fussy over Wi-Fi connections.
Have you checked the AP logs? Authentication issues are most common. We have problems at work with HP laptops and Vodafone routers/AP. They just don’t like each other.
