Hello, I am about to install a Huawei Solar PV system with 10kW battery. The inverter is a hybrid type and charges the battery with DC from the array directly. I understand all the CT clamps measure AC current so I wondered whether there is a way to monitor the DC charge current from the inverter to the battery? Thanks
It might be possible to extract the data you need directly from the inverter itself - easier if the manufacturer provides an official API. This will require writing some code to collect that data and feed it into emoncms.
