Lost Pre-provisioned Set-up

Hi,

Sorry newbie here! I’ve just had a heatpump installed and along with OEM heatpump kit (level 3 with 2 meters and Dhw sensor) which the installer purchased.

Essentially the monitor was up and running but then the app disappeared (I wasn’t aware of doing anything to do this but as I said above I am a newbie so most probably user error)! I did try to register / set-up on EmonCMS without much success. Scanning the qr code just took me to the setup hub without the app available. The inputs and feeds had all gone.

Essentially, I’ve tried to set-up the inputs and feeds again but I am not confident I have it correct.

Is there a way of reverting back to the original pre-provisioned state with all the inputs & feeds set-up how they originally were? Or is it possible for someone to provide some guidance or screenshots of how this should be done?

Remote access and support is part of the Heatpump package, so I think you might have to wait until Monday. I suggest you email The Shop asap and explain what’s happened.

It’s not made very clear anywhere, but the emonPi with emonCMS for electrical energy monitoring is different to the emonPi with emonCMS as a Heatpump monitor - the first trap being as a Heatpump monitor it is already set up and you don’t basically start from scratch as you do for electrical monitoring. The second difficulty is only setting up for electrical monitoring is documented here. Other than the printed sheet which I think came with your kit, I don’t think there’s any other documentation published that is specific to the Heatpump monitor.
