Kamstrup Heat Meter fitted on return pipe based on drawing. Now found sticker saying "Install Meter Body on FLOW"

Hi, I purchased Level 3 Heat Pump Monitoring Bundle (emonHP) and plumer installed Kamstrup heatmeter and second temperature sensor, based on drawing that came with purchase. i.e Heat Meter body with integrated temperature Inlet T1 sensor installed on the RETURN pipe and second temperature sensor Outlet T2 installed on FLOW pipe. When I looked at graph on emoncms I saw flow temperature is less than return temperature. Checked documentation and found “UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE VIA STICKER ON METER”. Checked meter and found sticker saying “Install meter body on FLOW minimium 1.5 bar”. Is there anything I can do to avoid getting plummer to come back and swap heat meter to flow pipe and second temperature sensor to return pipe. Pipework was designed to have straight section on return pipe to fit heat meter as per manufacturers guidance on drawing which came with purchase.

Oh dear, sorry to hear. It’s possible to swap the temperature sensor connections around inside the meter.

You can re-configure the meter to tell it that it’s installed on the return by following these instructions:

If the meter has been installed it will be necessary to remove the front cover then re-attach the cover to force the meter into config mode.

Thank you Glyn, followed instructions and now it working properly.
