How to stop Local Emoncms 'timeout'

No, I didn’t need to log back in.

Perhaps

is the problem that people see … and are not specifically aware of … like me!
Despite that I have used the saved graphs, and I had got used to the fact that the graphs disappeared when you changed page in emonCMS - although I did find that rather inconvenient

Firm evidence:

I opened a graph and positioned it so that the last point was centre screen, this was at 15:45. It’s now 17:08. The browser tab remained open but out-of-view for the whole time.

None of the buttons work.
The drop-down drops but is inactive.
Reload is inactive.

“Apps” selected ‘My electric’ which is alive.
“Dashboards” → “Main” requests a log-in !

Now if that isn’t weird, I don’t know what is.

  • Have you cleared your cache since any recent update? The Javascript tends to get cached.
  • What is your browser info (copy from admin page) - mine (well, one of them).
    Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/110.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Just gone to a tab - its been sitting for 3 days.

Refresh

Works fine

Version: low-write 11.3.0 (this is on an LXC Host).

I’ll leave one of the Pis connected.

I have been doing an experiment with mine, I am not sure I have been clicking the keep me logged in button, I know I have in the past but I think I assumed this was about logging in rather than keeping my sessions connected. Anyway it looks as though it is keeping the session connected. If this does

I have clear my browsers completely when I shut them down so I don’t think it will be due to cache contents.
