How do I block automatic update?

how to block the automatic update during the first installation of emoncms?

I presume you are running the lastest SD Image?

If so I think you can simply rename the file /boot/emonSD-30Oct18. However, you will have to rename it back for any update to work.

There was some discussion a while back on providing a mechanism to enable this feature.
