Help / advice on heatpump failure

Hi
this is not related to heatpump monitor, but to an actual heat pump failure. Any heat pump experts out there?

I have a Nibe 1245 that I’m told by the engineer the compressor is failing…
the unit is just 7 years old.

Is that reasonable? would you expect every 7 years to replace the compressor?
