Feeds - one not synchronising

Happy New Year.
At the beginning of last year I attempted to fill some gaps in a feed and accidentally generated timestamps that were for December 2024, rather than 2023. Since then I have been manually copying the feed data each day from my local emoncms to the hosted instance. I was hoping that once the date had passed that erroneous data the sync would start working again but sadly it is still not syncing that feed. The other three are working fine.

1 Jan 2024 11:32 is when I last manually added the data using the Import Data function.

Anything I can try to get the heatpump_dhw one syncing again, please?

Hello @LeiChat if you delete the feed on emoncms.org and re-upload that should hopefully fix it. Alternatively if you want to preserve the version on emoncms.org you can delete the local, download it and then reconfigure the input processing before syncing it up again…

Thanks Trystan. Ideally, I would like to preserve as much data locally and on emoncms.org as possible.

The local input is from emonHistory in Home Assistant that has a “log to feed” process.

What might be configured wrong locally that’s preventing the sync with emoncms.org for that feed?

If the remote feed has a different start time or more data points in it than the local feed it will not upload new data. It sounds like there’s an inconsistency somewhere…

If I downloaded both and merged them, could I delete the feed from both instances and start again by uploading the merged data? The thing I really want to avoid is starting from fresh with either feed.

Yes that should work, perhaps keep the current feeds as backups and create a new feed with a different name?

:+1: And probably best to disable the export from HA with emonHistory while doing the migration.

Once that was complete, would renaming the feed to the original name enable that new feed to used by heatpumpmonitor.org?
