EmonTx4 WiFi & expansion board options

If i purchased the emonTx V4 with WIFi, will this still allow for the future 6 CT expansion board to be installed or not?

So I’m assuming the wifi board uses an expansion slot.(or not)

Hi Welcome.

I am pretty sure the expansion board will work off a different set of headers so it should be possible to extend the TX4 even with the Wi-Fi module (it just attaches to the UART effectively). @Gwil @TrystanLea can confirm.

Yes both expansion boards can fit on the emonTx4. We are still working on the firmware for the expansion board so I have to caveat that it’s availability is all dependent on success on that front.
