Emonpi has died

My emonpi has died. Before I get going, I should set the scene. I am the least able person ever, so if you offer advice, assume you will have to tell me how to do every.single.step.line.by.line.

Emonhub doesnt seem to want to start, and I get inactive in all the feeds. It was working until 43hrs ago it seems.

I have software restarted
Hard restart (power cable out for 1min)
updated to the latest full update.

Nothing seems to make it start.

Its a fairly new SD card, bought coomplete from the store.

Im at a total loss.

Hi,

Firstly what has changed? Power cut, Power spike?

Can you SSH into the emonPi?

Hi. Nothing I know of, we havent had a power cut, no spike that I know of.

However, in my panic of OMG NOT MY EMONPI… I think I have fixed it… I found a back up I took when i moved onto the new SDcard and uploaded it, and that seems to have worked.

Sorry for being such a dumb***se

You might not have fixed the problem, just the symptom and you have lost all the data since then as well.

Yeah I have lost the data. But I dont think it was collecting it anyway? I pump it up to .org so I am only missing 48hrs. Anything you would suggest to look into the cause? Or have I goosed the chance?

Next time check and see if the log partition is full (from the admin page).
