just remember once you install a version >2.4 you will need to change the com_baud setting in emonhub to accommodate the increase in baud from 9600 to 115200
Just compiled and uploaded latest sketch V2.9.
Problem solved !!!

Good to hear.
Although a little odd, there have been no notable changes in what or how the data is set between v2.5 and v2.9, here are all the changes
perhaps there is a change in the JeeLib library versions used.

Not that I’m aware of. The payload changed between V2.3 and V2.9, but then my debugger sketch displays the message whatever the payload, so that doesn’t explain it.
