- Backwards compatibility to the original flat key php settings format has now been removed. We moved away from that format 7 years ago. It’s not a format that any of the safe update emonSD images use either. An error message is now shown with a note to update to the new settings format instead.
- Old php_input service removed, this was replaced with emoncms_mqtt 7 years ago as well.
- Cassandra feed engine has been removed, it was added 9 years ago and has received very little attention since - get in touch if you are still using this actively and we can figure out a way to modularise.

- Upgrade to bcrypt password hashing algorithm for added security
- Download gravatars locally if supplied.
- Improved password reset implementation for folk who have configured email and have enabled this (not applicable to most emonSD installs).

- Improved install/update process.
- Include a minimal version of the RFM69 library (vendored inside emonhub rather than separate install and update process - in order to simplify update process)
- JeeLib classic support in RF69 interfacer (this was an interfacer we added to support native format, not the LPL version. This now supports classic as well).
- Improvements to the Emoncms HTTP interfacer to improve handling of error states returned by the remote server.
