Hi All,

I have a batch of diyBMS V4.4 modules I got used off someone on this forum, however one of the modules has developed a failure.

When I hooked up the 6, I noticed one of them wasn’t blinking happily away like the other 5. I went to touch it and noticed it was red hot.

On investigating this further, the cause is the MCU itself. It’s basically just a short at the minute for some reason.

Does anyone know if this is a common fault? Should a simple MCU replacement fix it?

J
