The firmware on our unit was updated a few weeks ago, engineer just turned up unannounced 
I haven’t seen any change on our unit - seems around ~960W low point as usual.
Are you running particularly low flow temperatures? I’ve got a minimum target flow temp of around 37C
My flow was from 31 to 36C. I saw ~900W draw at ~36C which looks comparable.
Part of getting the darn thing to work was adding some more emitters, so my weather curve is only 33-39C.
I’m on Heatpumpmonitor, the 9kW Daikin in Swindon (albeit with errors and missing data at the moment)
Same as everyone else, the electrician turned up out of the blue. 20 minutes later he was gone. He told me that they were updating all units of 9Kw and above. We await to see if there is an improvement.
