I’m quite happy to help people who are willing to listen and to learn.
It’s the people who think they know everything but don’t (no names), who won’t listen and go on to put out false or misleading information who get jumped on.

Yes, occasionally, and unfortunately.
I have a relative who’s married to someone who boasts that they can turn their hand to anything. It’s true - this person can. And the tradesmen who have to put it all to rights afterwards are kept in work.
That is sad…
I admire someone that knows a lot, and more so when they are willing to teach and help another person, but a know-it-all I cannot stand! There IS a difference!
