# Backup option missing

Hi,

I have the most recent stable branch (downloaded yesterday from git) installed on my Jessie machine and I was looking under “Extra” as this page [Import / Backup - Guide | OpenEnergyMonitor](https://guide.openenergymonitor.org/setup/import/) suggests that this is where I should look. Nothing there though. I thought this post [Backup Export not working](https://community.openenergymonitor.org/t/backup-export-not-working/7405) was a similar problem but this seems to be more around the paths on a Rpi. Is there something specific I should be doing to activate the backup module. I also trawled through the “settings.php” which does not give any hint on this.
