Continuing the discussion from [Documentation change log](https://community.openenergymonitor.org/t/documentation-change-log/4595):

The update to the backup documentation documentation may cause confusion if this is used on older systems as part of a migration. Perhaps an old interface image could be included?

Under **Included in backup** - is `settings.php` included? Is there a migration path to the `ini` format?

Have you tested an ‘update’ on a system running Emoncms V8.x (just so I know what to advise)?

I think a manual backup method would be a useful addition.
