# Avoiding wireless connections - EmonTX serial RPiZero solution

Hi @Robert.Wall - I think our messages crossed.

It could well be that I mis-wired the connection between the PiZero and the emonTx, but I am 99% sure I followed the second diagram in @pb66 's post here. But I will make up a second set and see if that changes anything.
